1,495-page RFE response
Background
A lead product designer at an education technology company and a grand-slam winner of the three top design awards: Red Dot, A' Design Award, and iF Design Award. She had just been approved for an O-1 that March and filed her EB-1A in July.
Challenges
Starting that July, USCIS began intensively scrutinizing design industry cases. She received a 10-page RFE that challenged nearly every criterion one by one: the prestige of the international awards, judging qualifications, the impact of original contributions, the employer's standing, her leadership, and the high-salary standard.
Strategy
Rather than simply piling on documents, we built a stronger evidence package for each type of challenge. We amplified the international standing of the three awards, elevated individual achievements into an overall contribution, presented the company's industry position and her core responsibilities in full, and rebuilt the high-salary comparison.
Outcome
After a 1,495-page RFE response, approved in 11 business days.
