Background
C entered the lottery through the master's cap. The offered position was Fashion Designer, but C's master's degree was an MBA and bachelor's was in commerce, neither matching the position.
Challenges
The usual degree pathway could not directly support the specialized requirements of a Fashion Designer position.
Strategy
We discovered that C also held an AA degree in fashion design and combined it with C's work background to argue the match with the position.
Outcome
Approved smoothly with no RFE (received by USCIS May 24 · approved August 16).
