Ms. W moved from product manager at a multinational tech company to entrepreneur and then to operator in the e-commerce and short-form drama industries. She had already filed and been approved for an NIW, and this time we planned O-1A status as a business professional in parallel.

Because she changed jobs, the advertising algorithms she developed years earlier at a major tech company did not carry her name on the patents, and "original contributions" became the main point of challenge in the O-1A RFE.

We rebuilt the chain of evidence for her original contributions using project reports, email correspondence, and statements from her team, and relied on her already approved NIW to make her O-1A position more secure.

The O-1A was approved after an RFE, and the NIW had already been approved, completing her path from work visa to long-term residence.
