Standard Change to Student Status
Background
Mr. Z entered on a visitor visa and decided only about a month before it expired to apply to a school and change to student status.
Challenges
With little time left before his visitor status expired, admission had to be secured very quickly.
Strategy
We urgently contacted a partner school, obtained the offer and I-20 the same day, and immediately filed the change of status with USCIS.
Outcome
Approved with no RFE; tuition was due only after classes began (contacted us 09/10 · filed 09/17 · approved 11/29).
